Hello, i am interested in this project and i want to join. The only experience i have is Unreal Engine 4 which i have a bit of work on(im not very experienced since i got it a short time ago) and i also know a bit of C programming. In about 4 months i should be experienced enough to help you with this. I think thats when we should start doing the game because there's a lot of planning to do. Like someone needs to write in the story word by word and every sidequest (This will probably take over 50 pages). Then we need to get a lot of people to join us because we need a minimum of 10 programmers if you want to do this type of game. also don't just get random people of the internet to help you. Make sure you have a good and reliable time to work with. This game is a pretty big ambition. Its probably gonna take years. And you're gonna need money to hire people(most free developers are okay but don't have enough experience for a big game like this). You also need to make sure of who does what and when you need it to be done. Like, don't tell people they can take their time because then the game will take forever to make. You also need to arrange your team. We need a minimum of 10 programmers, 10 character designers and animators and we need over 15 people to make the environment if its open world. Even with this many people it will take years since this is the minimum. AND NEVER EVER EVER give up on this project since people are gonna be pissed if you stop half way through. finally What do you think you are going to do? Program, Design,Etc. If you are just going to direct it( Say what goes into the game and all the sidequest and story and ****) you need someone to help you plan out the game and see what ideas are good to execute in a game and which are not. This seems like an overly ambitious game. Is this your first one? What experience do you have? Can i join? and also if this is your dream game treat it with seriousness. Id suggest you gather people(good developers) tell them your ideas then work on a small demo/prototype to see what we can make and what we cannot then showing it to an audience and open up a Kickstarter and asking for a large amount of money to 1.Pay developers who are helping you 2. Afford very good publishing and marketing so the game will sell and get noticed 3. Build a powerful computer. Finally, what engine is it on? Unreal? Unity? or from scratch?( which will take twice the time). I would like to be a part of this and help out i hope you read this if not i just wasted 15 minutes of my life.
